1. Introduction

Welcome to NursesAndMidwives.online (“the Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

NursesAndMidwives.online is a membership-based empowerment platform designed to support nurses and midwives through entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, networking, events, travel opportunities, and access to jobs and study opportunities.

By registering, subscribing, or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

Membership is open to:

• Registered nurses and midwives
• Nursing and midwifery students
• Retired or former nurses and midwives
• Other healthcare professionals approved by the platform

You must provide accurate information during registration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3. Membership & Fees

Membership options:

• UGX 10,000 per month
• UGX 20,000 per year

Membership fees:

• Are payable in advance
• Are non-transferable
• May be updated from time to time (with notice)

Access to member-only services is subject to active membership status.

Failure to renew membership may result in suspension of benefits.

4. No Guaranteed Income or Employment

NursesAndMidwives.online provides:

• Training
• Networking opportunities
• Job listings
• Study information
• Business guidance

However:

• We do not guarantee employment
• We do not guarantee business success
• We do not guarantee funding approval
• We do not guarantee income generation

Members are responsible for their own decisions and outcomes.

5. Events, Travel & Retreats

Participation in events, travel, or retreats:

• May require additional fees
• Is voluntary
• Is subject to availability

Members participate at their own risk.

The platform is not responsible for:

• Personal injury
• Loss of property
• Travel disruptions
• Visa or travel documentation issues

6. Code of Conduct

All members agree to:

• Treat others with respect and professionalism
• Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
• Avoid spreading false information
• Avoid using the platform for illegal activities
• Avoid unauthorized selling or spam within community groups

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

• Warning
• Suspension
• Termination of membership without refund

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform including:

• Logos
• Training materials
• Graphics
• Videos
• Written content

Belongs to NursesAndMidwives.online and/or MIKLAH unless otherwise stated.

Members may not reproduce, distribute, or resell content without written permission.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy.

Information collected may include:

• Name
• Contact details
• Professional background
• Payment information

Your data will be used for:

• Membership management
• Communication
• Program updates
• Service improvement

We do not sell member data to third parties.

However, we may share limited information when necessary for:

• Event coordination
• Payment processing
• Legal compliance

Members are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.

9. Limitation of Liability

NursesAndMidwives.online and MIKLAH shall not be liable for:

• Financial losses
• Business losses
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Decisions made based on information shared on the platform

All resources are provided for educational and empowerment purposes only.

10. Platform Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify services
• Add or remove programs
• Update membership benefits
• Amend these Terms and Conditions

Members will be notified of significant changes.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate membership if:

• Fees are unpaid
• Terms are violated
• Fraudulent behavior is detected

Members may cancel their membership at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

Any disputes shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation before legal action.
